It was a chilly and raining this morning. However, my boss and I toughed it out for a few hours. I came out with this 2+ lb bass on a $1.99 Twitch N Minnow I bought at BPS. My boss told me they were hitting shad so I decided to throw on my Twitch N Minnow second I've caught with that lure by the way. Anyway, I was BSing with him on my retrieve when I stopped and WHAM it hit it. At first, his response was are you sure you have something on and not a log? Hahahahahaha... He's a funny guy by the way. Well here it is. Tight lines!

Nice catch man.  That looks like it's right over by Freestone Point by the Leesylvania Pier...  Anyway your boss has a pretty nice motor on that boat too.  Looks like a cold but fun morning.  Least you were able to get one.  Would have done anything to be on the water this morning... but I'm stuck at work.  You slacker lol.

I don't remember what the temp was but the water was very clear.  We were fishing in 6-7 feet of water along some grass line.
