Andy and I went to Lake Royal this morning. It was a chilly 40 degrees and heavy cloud cover. Andy kicked my behind today and caught three LMBs to my one LMB (a dink). I have attached a picture of Andy and the first LMB that he caught. I did not take a picture of mine due to size. I caught mine on a white and blue spinner.

Wish I could have joined you guys.  I'll be there on Monday.

Who are you fishing with on Monday? I know Jay and I are fishing Lake Royal Monday November 19th.

I'll be there by myself.  I got the day off from work so I'll be hitting at least that spot.  I might be buying a jon boat on Monday too.  

Thanks Ron!  I caught the LM in the picture with a white Booya Jig and chunk.  The other two I caught with the Black Fury #3. I lost a huge one that spit the lure out as it jumped out of the water.  I also lost another one at the bank but it wasn't bigger than the one in the picture.  Overall, it was a great morning.  

Lures that I tried this morning were Green Senko (T-rigged and wacky), Black w/Blue flake tube and Medium twitch N Minnow.  

I just got back from Lake Royal.  I caught this guy about 5 casts in...

I looked for something different in my tackle box and decided to try an orange and silver Little Cleo spoon.  It paid off quickly, but I lost the lure to the bottom after 2 more casts.

After losing 3 more lures I decided to call it a day.  Tough day on my tackle box, but catching a fish made it all worth it.

Nice healthy fish pk.  Looks to be in the 1-1/2 - 2 lb range.  I know what you mean about the tackle box.  As soon as we put a pattern together at Huntsman on Sunday and I caught a fish on the trap, I lost it like 3 casts later and didn't have any other traps that size in there.  I was so mad lol.  Figure I could have caught a couple more on that thing.  Anyway, nice catch.  I don't have any spoons but I will be investing in some in the offseason as my friend Troy and my wife have both caught a good amount of bass on em'.  Later man.

Not by the dam.  I parked on the cul-de-sac off Guinea road... I caught it right off the trail there.  I let him go, so I'll have to try to catch him again in that same spot.

I didn't get any strikes off the dam.  I did see a turtle on a log by the dam so the water must still be semi warm.
