Anyone have any good information on fishing Neeley Henry Lake, Gadsden, AL Will be going there for the first time on Saturday

Thanks in advance,

Ken

Hi Ken,Fishing is o.k. here on Neely but could be allot better.try cranking and jigging the deeper rocks and bluffs and you should catch a few.just remember that "deep water" to us locals would be 8 to 12 ft.

I usually fish the Canoe Creek area.  Permita Creek has shown to hold good bass all year.  We have been catching them off rocky points and around riprap with slow rolled chartreuse spinnerbaits.  I have also picked up a few nice fish lately on jigs around some of the deeper water boathouses and docks.  I would also stress that 12' is "deep" water and I have rarely had success fishing any deeper than that on Neely Henry.

I live in Leeds also so send me an email and we'll head up to Neely Henry sometime.  I bass fish Neely Henry and Bankhead and also noodle catfish on Neely Henry and Logan Martin.
