Lucky Craft B-MH

Featured Replies

I saw a buzz bait on the Northern Bass website made by Lucky Craft called B-MH. This lure might not be a new product but I had never heard of this lure before. I was wondering if anyone had tried this lure? What were the results? I also noticed the spinner you are suppose to attach to the hook. Is'nt adding a trailer hook a better choice?

I've fished the BMH buzzbait.

By adding that little blade, you can fish this bait VERY slow.  It will also run true without any tuning if you add the blade.

Still, you can do that to any buzzbait with similar results.

Still, nice baits.

Brad & bassclown...do you guys use it with the spinner provided? Do you add a trailer hook if you are using the spinner? I bought one today & haven't used it yet.

You shouldnt need a trailer hook for any of Lucky Crafts lures.

While were talking about their buzzbaits how do their spinnerbaits compare to say Terminators T1s?

I would recommend using a trailer hook for any buzzbait or spinnerbait.I have caught to many fish on trailer hooks. All a trailer hook is for is to help get a hookset on fish that shortstrike the lure or just miss the front hook.

No brand is "short strike proof".  Sometimes, trailer hooks are necessary.  No way around it.

No one has said if they caught any bass with the LC B-MH.  It looks different, but does it work?

I'm with you.

Yeah, it catches fish.  Better than other buzzbaits?  Most times, no.  But, you can really fish one slow with the little blade and sometimes, slow is the best way to go.
