Short outting giving me big hopes!

Featured Replies

Decided to try a pond that Simon and I have been fishing and turn out pretty good! It was slow at first. Threw out a rat'l trap and tried some shakey head action but got nothing. Decided to walk the shore line and threw on a different crank bait.  I saw a bunch of bream schooling near the shore so i fanned this one area and found the bass! They weren't big but I'd take them over being skunked any day.   My good scale was out of batteries while my alternate one was acting funky so no numbers. Here are some pix (sorry about size).

Thanks Slomoe!

It's a megabass SR-X, got it as a gift from a friend. Hopefully it'll be a gift that keeps on giving.

Nice job Andrew, it looks like you found a sweet spot to fish.  I like the crankbait.
