Lake Agnes FL

Featured Replies

This lake just on the north side of I-4 by Fantasy of Flight looks like it has some good cover and could be worth a try. Anyone have any experience on this lake and if so what do you recommend?

I can't comment on the big lake, but little Lk Agnes used to be a excellent Bass lake! It's the smaller one, next to it, visible from I-4. You can get a pass for $14 (or so it used to be) from the trailer park that has ramp access to it. You get 2 trips on each slip, but it's a dirt ramp unless they have put in a new one in the last couple of years.

It is clearer than most lakes in fla.  But it was down the last time I was there and had trouble using the ramp.  There is limited parking.  I have caught fish in the south end next to I-4 where it is deeper with a 10" ribbon tail/purple with blue flake and schooling bass on a rattle trap right off the ramp.  Also a jointed rapala J-11 in silver and white thrown along the grass.
