Residents Urged to Avoid Four Mile Run Stream

Arlington County reports a broken pipe caused sewage to leak into Four Mile

Run Stream near Bluemont Junction, affecting waters all the way to the

Potomac. All residents are advised not to fish in or have any contact with

the waters - including wading or swimming - until further notice.

;D I used to work up there, so I know what you mean.

What a d**n mess! There should be some safe guard that if a simple pipe breaks that crap doesn't go floating into the river!

It happens more than you think. I have a co-worker that lives in MD. Same thing happend there, his wife took the dog down to the river for a swim. Almost killed the dog, its blind now.
