For anyone reading I went to my club meeting tonight and heard of two incidents from this past weekend. One person supposedly sunk and one person in the club hit a floater sat and did 6,000$ worth of damage to his boat.Just figure I would pass along for anyone interested. I am not looking as forward to my club tounament out there this weekend as much as i was

floaters are a given in rodmans in the barge canal, but so are sharks at the beach.common sense and xtra awareness are necessary.running outside of the canal is suicide, but i see some do it.just as you hear someone getting bit by a shark at the beach every once in awhile toy'll hear someone getting bit by a floater or planter.use caution and your likely not to encounter any problems.fishing is good,so it should be woth the effort.
