Berkely Chigger Craw

Featured Replies

I bought a couple bags of these an plan on texas rigging them and pitch/flipping these into buckbrush and stuff like that. Has anyone else had success with this bait and if so in what way did u rig them and what color were you using. I have green pumpkin and black/blue flake.

The Chigger Craws are great.  Texas rig them, or use them as a jig trailer.  They catch fish either way.  They also seem to be just a little more durable than some other craws.

cinnamon? kind of a green pumkin red sort of color

green pumpkin/green flake

black/blue flake

everything already stated and I like them on a jig also. Just bite a section of the tail to trim it down if need be. I catch fish with them.

The "Chigger" series of craws are good baits.  I like the 4" on a Texas rig and the 3" as a jig trailer or on Spot Remover style heads.

I use them as jig trailers. The fish seem to hold the jig a little longer than one with a regular unscented trailer. The Power Bait scent is a real advantage. I've been hooked on Berkley Power Baits since they came out.

IMO they shine as a jig trailer.

Haven't tryed them t-rigged. But I do use them as a jig trailer. Just cut them down to the right size to fit on your jig, and they work pretty well.

Thanks guys I think we are going to be able to get out on the lake for awhile tomorrow afternoon. So I'll try them then

I LOVE THEM AS A JIG TRAILER. SEEMS LIKE THE FISH WILL HOLD ON TWICE AS LONG COMPARED TO UNSCENTED RUBBER. ID SAY TEXAS RIGGED WOULD BE TUFF TO BEAT TOO.
