I have a tournament coming up on the Mississippi river near Tunica Mississippi  shortly and have never fished there. Any sggestions or ideas would be  most appreciated

50 - I don't ever see many posts here from MS, so you might not get much help, I did do a little research though and this is what I came up with:

http://www.mississippigameandfish.com/fishing/bass-fishing/ms_aa083003a/index.html - This article seems to deal with bass fishing in that area, lots of good info, and mentions Tunica numerous times. You might even try contacting the Author for more info.

http://www.catfish1.com/forums/showthread.php?t=69170 - It is a catfishing website, but ask your question on that same post that deals with Tunica, and I'd be suprised if you didn't get back some valuable info.  If nothing else they might be able to direct you to a site that might help.

Also, try getting in touch with a local club, or guide, you'll have to learn to sift thru the BS and find the truth.

I think the first article should help alot. It will give you an idea as to where you might concentrate location wise. After that, all you have to do is nail down a pattern. Pre-fish!
