Has anyone use the Skinny Dippper? How do you fish these? Weightless or on a jig head?

I picked up a few packs. Hopefully they catch more than just me.  ;D

great beat dj. i swim mine through the pads weightless. i also will add a small screw in weight and cast it and let sink. then i will reel it back slowly like a crank. they work, just keep trying them.

Thanks for the response. I just love the profile of this plastic. It is like a fluke on steroids. That paddle-tail should be killer.

I was thinking about trying them on a spot remover, but I like the swimming idea a lot better maybe with a small 1/16 or 1/8oz weight.

Did you get the full size or the smaller one?  I do quite well on the full sized one.  i like to rig them weightless or on one of the weighted hooks like the Mustad or LAke Fork swimbait hooks.

It must be the bigger one since once size is listed and there is also a little dipper.

full sized, on weighted falcon hooks.

I prefer not to skinny dip. just kidding.

I have heard a jerk and die technique works for any kind of minnow bait.

Yea, these baits work well. I started using them last summer in the same places I would fish a swimbait. Did very well and they cost a heck of a lot less then basstrix and other paddle tails. I did really well with white trash and bad shad.

I started with one pack,  and ordered a dumper truck full of them after my initial success.  I use them weightless on a 4/0 Gammy Hook, they tend to tear a pretty easy so make sure you use some glue or a corkscrew spring hook (i.e. Horny Toad Hook)
