Pliers that can cut a hook

Featured Replies

Can anyone suggest some needle-nose pliers that can cut hooks?  I nearly embedded a spinner bait in my sons head last Sunday.  Lucky for me he's thick headed.  Looking for reasonably priced pliers ;)

I carry a small, stainless steel side cutter (dikes) in my pocket that I picked up from bass pro shops.  They are about 5" long were only 5 bucks.  I've had to use it once to cut a treble hook out of my finger

x2 on the side cutters.  I always carry a pair with me.  I just buy the cheapest ones I can find and the hardware store..

I have my multi-tool on my belt at all times. It has saved me more than once.

Falcon

Leathermans wave.

The best multi-tool one could ever ask for.The only real problem is the blade dulls kind of easy, but it is still really sharp.
