Featured Replies

Calling Panther has a new lake record!!

13-lb, 4-oz

Caught on the day i joined this forum; guess i should have been fishing!!!! (feb.2,2009)

If you go to Miss. website, mdwfp, it has photos; sorry i couldn't post link.

Nice looking bass.  What a shame that he has taken two bass over 10lbs out of that lake rather than having fiberglass mounts made of the catches .

He caught it on a live minnow. Get da Bucket!

Went to the 'Panther today, and got skunked!

Learned something new, though......

If you buy a annual "pass" to MS state park lakes, meaning no launch/fish fees, etc., IF YOU BRING  SOMEONE WITH YOU to fish (unless children), THEY MUST PAY $5 PER PERSON.

Funny, that wasn't mentioned when the "annual pass" was purchased; oh-yeah, the Game Warden said,"it's been changed"...!!??

No big deal, really, just thought some other MS fisherman with a pass, might want to know......

Yes, why did he take the bass out and not have a fiberglass replica made. That means there are 2 bass over 10#'s taken from that lake that could have reproduced other large bass. How hard is it to take measurements of the fish and throw it back ESPECIALLY when you have a camera on the boat!
