The Coosa is renowned for its spotted bass plus there are a lot of LMs, catfish, stripes, hybrid, and crappie. You can fish the river which is very fun or one of its lakes; such as, Jordan, Lay, Mitchell, Nelly Henry, Weiss, Logan Martin, or Bouldin. I have had most of my luck with watermelon seed and green pumpkin MAGII, zara spooks, and shad color cranks.

I hope you enjoy your stay in Alabama !!!  :)

SHAKEY HEAD WITH WATERMELON WORM ON POINTS AND SHAD COLORED SPINNERBAIT OR BASSTRIX TYPE SWIMBAIT THROUGH THE WEEDS AND/OR SHALLOW WOOD.   TOP WATER EARLY AND LATE.  PREDOMINATE BAITFISH IS THREADFIN SHAD.  ENJOY YOUR STAY.

ROLL TIDE,
