Hey guys, I'll be in Florida for a week and wanted to get to Okeechobee to do some fishin'.  Anybody know of any spots/docks/etc. were i can fish form shore?  Also, any tips and/or recommendations as far as bait selection goes would be greatly appreciated!  Thanks!

    I was there a couple weeks ago and rented a jon boat from Roland Martin's marina. It was around $70/day so you might want to consider that. I saw one person fishing from shore, he was using live bait. Look out for gators!
