Check the South Hill, Virginia weather.

Docks and piers dot the shoreline.

Water temp in high 50s.

Can be very dangerous if windy.

Where are you launching?

Big lake with lots and lots of creeks.

Backs of creeks were muddy this weekend but may be clear by Saturday.

Cold front moving into the Lake Gaston area on Friday, producing falling temperatures and a chance of rain.

So there goes the bite!!!!

Fishing will be hard on Saturday.

Tell me where you are launching and I will give you some suggestions.

However, with the cold front moving through, cloudy skies and a good chance of rain fishing suggestions may not be valid for this Saturday.  

i am putting in at river ridge.i was planning on running to the mid to upper area.i figured the water may be a little warmer around stone house and up.any help would be appreciated i have not been on the lake since june.thanks, gary

With rain the backs of creeks may be muddy.

Start at the mouth of the creeks and work your way back looking for clean water.

Will have rain on Saturday after a cold front moving through on Friday so I doubt you will find many "warm" places for the fish to enjoy.

I would guess that Stonehouse, being on the western side, would be just as good as any other creek this Saturday due to the weather.

Maybe a Carolina rig will produce in the stumps at the mouth of Stonehouse.
