i have plans to go there this weekend but never fished the area i have a 14' jon boat and a trolling motor and heard there are flats right off the ramp and alot of finger canals just wandering if its dryed out out there or what all info appreciated

At Sawgrass, the perimeter canals are deep.

You should be fine venturing into the flats with your boat.

The finger canals are located on the west side of US 27, Sawgrass is on the east side.

There are boat ramps every few miles along the west side of US27 to access the "fingers".

I hear the fishing is good at both locations.

they are dropping water fast out there. the fishing is red hot. holiday has turned on as well. no need to fish the flats, the canals are loaded with fish.

my motor doesnt work right now and all i have is a trolling motor so how far do u have to go to get with these fish
