Anyone ever been to Lake Harrison in Charles city? I plan on trying it out this weekend if the weather aint to bad, wanted to see if there's any tips before I get out there.

Yes, I have been to Hamilton Lake off Route 5.

Nice area to launch your boat.

I fished the lake during the summer and there were pads in the lake.

The trees are super if you can get into them but watch out for snakes.

Lots of crappie fishing going on.

Did not catch anything great.  I remember catching some pitching a Senko along the bank. They were dinks.

I may go back this summer now that I know how to enter the place.
