Where to buy Ikas?

Featured Replies

All the lakes are stoll frozen here in Michigans U.P. but it's time to start stocking up on soft plastics. I'm always looking for a bargain on baits so I can afford gas for the yammi. Would some of you fellow bassers share your favorite"on line"places to buy soft plastics? I'm especially interested in someplace to get fat ikas or fat ika "knock-offs" Thank you ahead of time for your help.

This is my first post here, I sure hope it works.

You can order straight off the Gary Yamamoto website, but of course you'll pay the regular price. I find a lot of fishing stuff on Ebay. Definitely check Ebay first. I get my Gary Yamamoto stuff from Dick's Sporting goods.

If you are looking for someone else selling Fat Ika style baits check out Bass Boy Baits. I've been seeing them referenced on here lately. I haven't used them but do a search on here and something should come up. They might even be sold through one of the advertisers, not sure.

I find them at Gander and BPS.  Gander has the Yamamoto version, and BPS carries the Kinami Version called the Palm Tree, but it is the exact same lure, just different packaging.  Gary Yamamoto let his son clone the bait and put his name on them, but they are identical.
