Anybody out there been on hartwell lately? Headed up that way in a few days looking for a fishing report.

My dad and brothers went out there last week. They did not have much luck with the fish, but the water is back up a bit!

Any information would be greatly appreciated we are heading up there in July for a family vacation.  We are camping on the lake on the Georgia side.  Thanks in advance.

i have been going up sporadically to lake hartwell with absolutely no luck. i dont have a big boat so i cant make runs to other sides of the lake but i do have a 13 foot tracker with a 55 lb thrust trolling motor mounted on the back. any tips would be greatly appreciated on how to catch fish in these waters because i have always had minimal success

Okay guys I got a report on hartwell for you. Look for main lake points especially the long main lake points, and also humps and ledges try throwing walking topwater baits like spooks on the points. If you have some wind try throwing white spinnerbaits. If they don't seem to be chasing bait or herring. Fish jigs, shakey heads or carolina rigs on the humps and ledges. 8-)
