Fishing near Oxford MS

Featured Replies

Will be traveling for work for two weeks in December. Wanted to know if anyone has information about fishing holes near Oxford?

Thanks

Well I was born in Oxford and visit frequently because all of my family still lives in the area.  I usually bring my boat and fish Sardis Lake.  Another good place is Puskus Lake off of Hwy. 30 northeast of Oxford.  There are lots of little lakes to fish.

Thanks, much appreciated.

I was looking at the lower lake for Sardis, looked promising.

Don't bring a cow bell with you as it will scare all the fish.

Specific flags of bygone days and old songs about Dixie will attract the fish.

Purple and gold are great colors to wear and to have as bait colors, too.  :)

Purple and Gold it is.

Thanks for the tip.

I may pass on the music, the golden pipes are not that harmonic.
