Have been away from the fishing scene for 8 months now (too long)! Im coming back, and ready to get back to it! have spent most of my life fishing the lakes in Highlands and Polk county, FL.  Just wondering if anyone is having any luck in this region?  Thanks!!!

My buddy went up to Walk in Water about 2 weeks ago and tore them up, 20-40 fish days.  Was primarily fishing lipless lures and t-rigging areas he caught them in, not sure where on the lake, but you should be in the bite right now. His biggest went 8 or so if I recall correctly, most were 2 to 3.

Istokpoga-has been very rough lately,due to high winds

Sunday Nov 8th,had a rather large team event,17.6 won $2500,15.12-2nd-1500,3rd-14.8-$500 winds were blowing at 17 gusting to 29.To give you an idea how tough the fishing has been.The lake was sprayed the week of Oct 20th.It'll be sprayed again Monday-Nov.16th all week.

Take your pick, your in prime bass country.

I can tell you this, look shallow, their moving in big time.
