Anybody know where there's some lakes within 20 minutes or so of Boone, NC. Trying to find some good lakes to fish, I've got plenty of rivers, but lake are a different story.

    Bass Lake in Blowing Rock. Price Lake and Trout Lake are about 30 - 35 mins away near the parkway. Watauga Lake in TN is about 35 - 40 mins away.
