West TN Fishing Tournaments for 2010

Featured Replies

I would like to know about any buddy style tournaments in West TN that can be fished from a modest boat set-up. Just searching the web I have little to no luck finding information on upcoming events. If anyone has some information or knows from past years of tournaments that occur each year I would appreciate it. Does Beech Lake in Lexington TN have any tournies?

I have heard that C and O Marine has a tournament trail that is well run, but I know nothing about it. Try their website for info...They are in the Nashville area. The winter boat shows(Jan-March) usually have several booths for the different trails, at least in E. Tn. You may want to try there if you can't find any info beforehand at tackle shops or Marine dealers.........Al

There are many, many options for you in west TN, all depending on how big you want to go. I know Beech Lake does have some tournaments. Your best bet to find info on those would be to give Beech Lake Marine a call. Also, Gibson County has a bass club you could join.

Then you could step up to the tournament trails. There's the TN River Trails, Team Trails, C and O, Super Bass, American Bass Anglers, BASS Weekend Series, BFLs, etc. Many options for you here in West TN.  ;)

Thanks for the info guys. I will be attending the boat shows and call Beech Lake Marine. I really appreciate you heading me in the right direction.

I know there's a local bass fishing club that meets in Brownsville, that has some tourneys as well.  They're usually at the shows too.  I'm not allowed to post links yet, but google Haywood County Bass and you'll find them.
