Carters is arguably the best Float N FLy lake in Georgia. Lots of quality fish are being caught this winter. We are using Georgia Tackle Custom flies in Spot Sushi color mostly. Leader lenghts are anywhere from 9 to 15 feet. I'm using 10lb braid and 6 to 8lb Triple Fish fluorocarbona nd it's a ton of fun catching fish on light line. It will take you close to 10 minutes to land a 5lb spot. Here is a sample of fish caught during this float n fly season.
