I've fished quite a few tournaments on Ariana. It gets a LOT of fishing pressure. You better hope the lake is up or the boat ramp could be a pain in the BUTT.

My best results have been dragging texas rigged worms in deeper water off the weedlines while everyone is banging the shoreline. But......that was in the summer. They could anywhere when you'll be there. There's some deep spots if you hug the shoreline heading to the left out of the boat ramp, I guess that would be north. They are just off shore in front of an odd looking house with angled glass windows. That spot seems hot anytime of year.   There's a weird kind of weed in that lake.  Somtimes, fishing trickworms or Senkos quickly through that stuff can work well also.

When I fished it years ago I remember there being a lot of submerged eel grass (that's what I have heard it called I don't know the technical name)
