Lake Istokpoga Fish Camps and Fishing Report

Featured Replies

We were thinking of going to Istokpoga for a few days next week.  We have never been there but have heard good things about it.  Anybody know about the fish camps down there?  We're looking for a cabin with good boat space and hookup.  Any fishing reports?

Try Henderson's which is more down by Lake Placid on the south and west side of the lake or Trail's End on the north side of the Lake. Both have what you mentioned

Wow

I thought a lot of guys would chime in on this lake; but nothing.  I have heard a few good reports on this lake recently so we thought we would give it a try.  Does anybody know if it is worth it or not?  It seems like a great place but no action on reports.

it worth it, they are biting, thats about all i know though.

You might want to consider Lake Kissimmee.  Club just fished there and we weighed 3 over 8lbs.

my club also fished last weekend at toho, it took 35 over 2 days to win and my buddy had a 13.7 and 11.3 in practice.

Toho is a lot closer and it sound like they may be turning on.  The weather report said this wind should lay down a little tomorrow.

It took 40 lbs to win a tournament on Friday and 22 to win on Saturday out of Camp Mack.

It sounds like the spring we were all hoping for is beginning to take shape.

We have been fishing Istokpoga for a couple weeks now with not much luck. Everyone we talk to there says the same. We usually just get 4-5 all day but they are big ones. Henderson's produced a 9lber late Feb.
