Anybody ever fished this place before? It's a collection of phosphate pits. I've been there a few times but have never caught a bass, yet it's supposed to have excellent fishing with some real trophies. I don't have a boat so I have to walk the bank and fish. I have no idea how to catch bass in phosphate pits. If you have any pointers for this place in particular, or if you have experience fishing phosphate pits, then please let me know. Thanks.

It's closed at the moment.  Levy repairs on the Turkey Creek side.  They drew it down and moved a lot of fish to Thonotosassa.  Before the construction, you needed a depth finder to find the humps and ditches.  The bite was offshore with a carolina rig.
