I have a tournament on claytor lake on sunday and i was wondering if anyone had been out there lately and knew what was going on?

Are you fishing the VT Club Tournament?

I saw that on the bass fishing team's website.  I emailed the president of y'alls club about a week ago wanting some more information on how to get involved, but have yet to get a response, so if you have any information it would be greatly appreciated.  I don't know much about Claytor, mostly fish for trout in Blacksburg this time of year.  Have fun at the tourney and best of luck.  I'll be in Martinsville.

i cant wait till this fall, ill be joining the team and starting engineering.  ive never fished claytor though but it looked like a fairly good size lake on bing maps.  good luck

Hey Caleb, I've been out lately.  They're really hitting the 20 inch swimbaits rigged up on an ugly stick.  If you throw that tomorrow you'll be in the money 

haha! You were right, they were killing the big swimbaits... that and the Banjo Minnow.
