I'm going to start fishing out of the Occoquan Regional Park area.  Can anyone point out a local place nearby to get live minnows?  Want to maximize my chances of catching fish.  Thanks.

    As an alternative, if you want to fish occoquan reservoir out of fountainhead, they sell minnows at the baitshop where you rent motors and stuff.

    Dawson's off Rt. 1 in Woodbridge. They have some very, very good minnows there.

    Heh... I was just at Dawsons. I saw signs for live bait, but didn't see any. I also wasn't looking for any.

    I believe they keep the live bait in the back.
