guy at work brought in pictures of a fish he caught a lot of 6-7lbers  on a DT-16 don't know where though

Great trip bro to Guntersville!!!We avg 50 fish per day just a couple of dinks 90 percent of them were 2-3 lbs big fush was 4.2lbs!Awesome lake!!!!Post pics on here bro!

I gotcha....I was joking around too. I love The Big G!! Great lake!

I have heard there has been some poaching going on up their lately. Not a good thing. Guys catching 3 - 4 times their limit, filleting their fish in the boat (including 5, 6, and 7 pounders), packing them in a cooler, and keep doing the same thing over and over....all day long. It really is sad that some people are doing this there. I see nothing wrong with keeping fish, but this is just plain wrong the way they are doing it. I am an advocate for Catch and Release. People need to realize that this can really cause damage to a great fishery.  I contacted the game warden the other day and they are really starting to crack down on these jokers.  I heard they were pulling a lot of boats over to check live wells the past few weeks.  Its about time!!
