My dad and I are heading up to fish the New River on Tuesday and Wednesday, just courious if anyone has any information about the water levels/ clarity. And any current water temps or patterns. I have noticed that there has been alot of rain in that area recently and I am wondering if we should reschedule. Any info would be great. Thanks

Check under the "kanawha river basin" for a location near where you will be staying (Hinton, Thurmond, or Hawks Nest Dam)

2.5 gates open is the best fishing at Hinton i use to fish at Hinton every weekend.

Never mind, I just talked to the guide, he suggested wemove the trip to a later dat due to the high, stained water. Thanks fo rthe help
