I'm headed to Lake Martin in Alabama next weekend (May 6-9).  I've visited this lake once before but never fished it.  Anyone got a recent fishing report or any pointers they can share?  Thanks in advance!!

If I had to bring only one bait to Martin it would be  a watermelon finesse worm on a 1/8 to 1/4 oz. shakey head fished on points or docks with deep water close by with wind or current on them.

I live on Lake Martin....Why are you people coming here?!?!?! LOL It's horrible!!!  Please be careful...Pleasure boaters are everywhere on this lake this time of year!  If you are gonna flip docks, get around the Kawliga area.  If you want more back water type areas you need to head to the area of the lake above Wind Creek State Park...Sturdivant Creek is a good place to start.  If you would like more advice send me a PM.
