I was just wanting to know if anyone knows if the ramp off Hoffner is back open? I went to fish there a few months ago and they were redoing the ramp.

Did they make any changes to ramp or did they just resurface it?

It appears they resurfaced the whole thing. It is still a shallow ramp. I wish they would have made the whole area larger. They replaced the dock with a smaller floating model. They should have made a place to beach your boat (boat parking area) while waiting to load up. It is an improvement, but with a bit of planning it could have been much better. The area is too small for the volumn of vehicles. If you fish there, give us a report. Good Luck.

...any reports yet? I'm in Orlando and might have to make my buddy bring his boat out there to do some good old fashioned conway brushpile fishing, if its been good lately.

Ya I went there yesterday evening and fished the canal going into lake Gatlin and around the two islands in Little Lake Conway. We caught 7 in about 3 hours with the biggest fishing being about 2 lbs. We used 10 inch worms and zoom speed craws but most of the fish came off the speed craw.
