Lox 9/12

Featured Replies

Went out yesterday evening. managed to dodge a couple of t-storms. Water is up a good 18 inches from 2 weeks ago. Only caught 9 or so but the quality was good. 4 in the 4 pound range plus a couple of 3's. biggest below was 4.12.

Not bad. Nice healthy looking fish right there. Certainly looks like a fluke.

What happened to the boat, Boca?

the bearing on my connecting rod ceased up. 3 grand later my engine should be running like a dream.

Oh man.  That sucks.  The motor better run like new after catching that kind of bill.

Nice catching. Sounds like a great day.

Lox can be really excellent.

With the higher water, how is the hydrilla?

I haven't been out there in a couple of months.

Nice work, Dale.

I went out to Lox Friday...I did pretty well out west but got chased back to the landing twice by storms. Probably caught 15 fishing from1:00- sunset (between storms). I had the best luck with skinny dippers/spooks. No fours for me, though. One about 3lbs.

I did see the biggest bass of my life on Friday. Was telling Robert (South Fla) about him...this fish was massive...the Lox Ness Monster. Well into the double digits.

I'm in China now. When I get back, I'm going on a little "Sowbelly" excursion of my own...

Dale,

Nice very NICE!!

I have dibs on the SOW BELLY, I spotted that monster at the beginning of Summer and I have to compare notes with Mike to see its the same one.   ;D

Went to Okee Tantie this past Sunday and it was a dink fest, before the T Storms had me running to shore.  Managed to dodge them but not until running my boat in a 3 foot chop for about 5 miles outrunning them, it ain't fun and my kidneys feel it.
