fished the lake again today from sun-uo till 5:30. on the way to the lake this morning my partner and i debated whether we should fish the bassbusters or not. we decided not to.  this would later be a bad decision.

put in at belle glade and went to the same area we went to last trip and caught a 5-12 and a 5-6 right off the bat. caught a dozen or so 2 pounders and decided to leave.

we decided to try an area we have not fished in a long time, and caught a fat 5-8. within the next hour we caught a 4-10 and a bunch of fish that were solid 3 pounders.

went and had lunch at rolands at 2:30 and saw all of the 31 boats coming to weigh. went back out and caught a bunch of dinks because the wind started howling.

left the lake at 5:30 and called a friend who fished the bassbusters. 20 pounds won. we easily had 23+ pounds. here are 2 pics of the 5-12 and the 5-6 we caught first thing this morning. the 5-8 was hooked in the tongue, and she was bleeding pretty good, so i did not get a photo. released her immediately and she darted off.

if we would have fished that tourny we probably wouldn't have done as good. who knows.

This fall is going to be unreal.

Never fails one year my buddy backed out of ghost and goblins at the last minute, I went out and caught about 25lbs, 18 pounds won the tournament.

Oh-so that's where all the fish I found on Friday went!!! LOL-great day out there! I had a solid pre-fish on Friday but Sunday in a club tournament turned a dud for me. The wind muddied up my water a bit and although I caught a lot of fish, the biggies moved-wah wah wah

Sheesh....bruce. between you and Dale, you two guys are killing me. I'm in China sweatin my arse off and you two are slaying the big bass. The closest I've been to a fish in two weeks was a hot oil flounder for dinner that had me sick for two days...

I did bring some reels with me to China, though. Took them apart, sanded/masked the housings and had my vendor paint them up in different colors. They look pretty sweet!

I want to see those when you get back.  I remember you telling me about taking them with you when we were on the way up to Iso.  I may have to send some reel parts with you one day
