When you leave the ramp and go out through the canal on the left, there was a shallow place just before the main lake opening that you sort of had to gun it and run through on plane because it was so shallow.....Is it still like that and can you get through ok or has it filled in?  Thanks,

The last time i was there the water was low. There was no gunning to get through that area. I would run the North canal and then come around the other side if i were you.

You're taking a risk by running the South canal that you describe. Take the North canal and run around the long way. Water level is still good out there right now too. The bottom muck has got a lot deeper, so be careful that you don't clog your motor. It's 3.5 feet of muck in some places that used to be sand bottom/beds.

How is the hydrilla, Steve?

It was pretty matted all through the NW sections when i was there last. (also where the fish were)

Hydrilla is laying down some. Look for a bed here and there.
