we straight smacked em on a 5 acre mill pond this afternoon... 47 degrees with a slight algal tint but very clear overall

Check out Warm weather Winter Bass VA thread.  It was a great day of fishing, went fishing at 4:12pm and fish were all over the shallows lots of 1Ib some 2 Ib saw a 3 plus and to many to count baby bass (7-9 inch range).  Caught a few decent or at least what I label minimal decent size (or eating size) lots of baby bass and what I think is a 6Ib Bass (almost 23 inches)

That is what I thought Sam, not sure.   Thanks.         I went to the James yesterday over behind James river high and the water was a little warmer then I thought it would be.

Ha yea... The area between the bridge and Bosher dam. River was running a little high, made for difficult fishing, but temps are slowly on the rise!
