Any suggestions for fishing Porcupine Bay...

Hey guys and gals, I have some questions. I am going out to Porcupine bay tomorrow to get some lines wet. Now I know it's still too cold, the water is too low and so on. Being in the Air Force and figuring the way we deploy, I have to get to it when I can. Anyone got any suggestions on what fish to target and what techniques to use... I will be in a boat but I only have a 15 hp, so I dont want to wander too far from my launch point and spend all day running to spots. Any locations to try? things like that.... any help/ideas would be great and appreciated.
