HELP ME! Northern CA Anglers

Featured Replies

Hi everyone. I will be moving to the Bay Area or Sacmento area in the next few months. Could someone point me in the right direction as far as fishing the Delta? Can anyone recommend a guide or tackle shop? What about a good swimbait setup? Thanks.

Heres a few places. One left off the list is Guns Fishing And Other Stuff in Vacaville./www.xtools.us/pages/dealerlist_pages/california.html

Thanks guys a big help. Once I get settled I will be taking a trip or two with Bobby.

There are many bait shops here in Sacramento:

Fisherman's Warehouse, Sacramento Pro Tackle, Elkhorn Bait and there is a Sportsman's Warehouse not too far in Rocklin.

Randy Pringle fishininstructor@aol.com is good also.

Check out WWW.ncbf.com  you can get a bunch on info on NorCal there.

Sportsman's Warehouse is amazing!! Good stuff there, and good prices.

Hmmm, i've never gone there for the good stuff or good prices... I always go there for the hot girls   ;)

Whatever tickles your fancy!  I want to go to Scheels in Reno, I hear it is just awesome!

Scheels is a pretty sweet "All-Around" shop.  Definitely different from what I was used to in Cali.  I would highly recommend it if you are over that way!!

Fourteen Mile Solough. Take I-5 and get off on March Lane West. Good luck.

Haha, I have a few bass ponds that I feel that way about.  Used to get some big ones, but lately it is only the little .5 pounders.
