My buddy and I want to hit Green Peter this year.  Any of you Western Oregon guys have any experience and or thoughts on a time frame ?  When does it hit full pool ? It looks like Riffe Lake in Washington.  What's more prevelant,  smallies or largemouth ?  Thanks in advance.

I fished it once in mid summer. Caught a 2lb. lg mouth on a rainbow trout crank. Don't forget Foster which is closer to Sweethome. My kid caugh a 4lb smallie there

really??? a 4 pound smallie in FOSTER? i have only ever landed dinks... what do you use? and at what part of the lake?

I use to live in sweethome before i joined the army and got stationed in fort drum new york but both foster and green peter and good  for small and large mout bass down by the dam on foster and over by the new boat dog i did good.

all ive heard about green peter is the kokanee fishing

Green Peter Res is know for its Kokanee fishing but it has some decent large and smallmouth bass I couldnt tell you where to fish as it has been a few years since I fished there.
