we are not going for a year, but hey I want to be prepared! Any tips on fishing there? Iam from South Dakota so my casting equipment is based on 10 pound mono, do I need to do something different? We will be on a houseboat, but will have another boat along for some fun and fishing. From what I have read it looks like stripers, smallmouth, and largemouth so it looks like it should be a good time if we can get on the fish. Iam sure I will have more questions.

The water is super clear. Mono or fluoro for line. I would go with 12 to 15 # test line. the stripers can be huge! Have fun and happy fishing.
