I just wanted to throw out a line to see if anyone is from the Sacramento area.  If so, what local lakes have you been fishing and how has the bite been?  I haven't been out on the water for about two months now and I'm a little out of touch. Itching to get out on the lakes again.

Within 2 hours of sac lol. I live in oakdale,which is the town you have to go through in order to get to Yosemite.Bite wasnt very good for us this year.Other people have had good luck, just not us really.Lakes are turning over so fish are kinda wacko right now but still catchable. jig fishing and drop shottings working, along with swimbait bite starting to pick up i hear. We went to Mcclure saturday and only scrapped up a few.Cant wait till we get a better graph. As for the delta idk i cant say. i havent been there in over a month. Stripers werent very strong this year, bass were off an on thing.For us,probably the worst fishing year ever.Cant wait to start the new year and wipe away the crappy one
