Hey fellas since you guys liked the Buddy Rich video so much Check this out Henry Roland Byrd know to the world as Professor Longhair The man wrote the book on rock and roll piano. Techinally there are eons of better players,but this guy wrote the first copy righted R&B/ Rock and roll tune BALD HEAD it was copyrighted in 1949!! He was a warm human being and always a pleasue to see. Dr.John,Little Richard,Fats Domino and Alla Tousiant all call him there inspiration He started that New Orleans Stride Piano style, check out his left hand on BIG CHIEF the 2nd link. Hes the reason why I first went to New Orleans, I had to see what inspired this music. Enjoy

Hey Muddy;Good stuff..If you like that NewOrlins flavor,Tab Benoit a current blues artist from there,has a few Cd,s with that cajun taste,Swampland Jam is a good one it has Raful Neil playing accordian on a few songs.Also if you can find it Doug Sahmn and the Last Real Texas Blues Band. Has people like Dr.Jon,Kaz Kazanoff,Derek O'brian,Louie Freeman.They do a couple of good Fats Domino songs,all the songs are good on that cd,you should try to find it 8-)
