Gettysburg Pictures

Featured Replies

I finally found an old SD card from my old camera when I lived in Gettysburg Pa. I decided to post some of my favorites for all to view.

First view is of 2 hills in the distance. The larger one is Big Round Top, and the smaller hill is Little round top. The second view is about 1/4 mile closer, and to the right of the first view.

Third view is a closer view of Little and Big round top, from across the field of Pickett's charge.

The last four pictures are from different areas in Gettysburg.

I lived in Gettysburg just short of a year.

I've been to Gettysburg one time.  Hallowed ground for sure and very awe inspiring.  It's a National treasure everyone should visit at least once.  I took a trip up in the old observation tower, it certainly gave a good view of the entire battlefield but I must say I'm glad they tore it down.  It was an eyesore on the battlefield.

Great pix.
