Need Help with Windows Movie Maker

Featured Replies

I thought that I would ask you guys because you seem to be making videos all the time.  I am using windows movie maker, and my problem is that when I go upload my video to a web hosting site it won't allow it because the website does not support that type of file (.MSWMM).  So my question is how do I, either convert it to a different type of file or save it differently, to allow me to upload my windows movie maker videos to a webhosting site?  Thanks for the Help.

What site are you using?  I have loaded those file types to Youtube and photobucket with no issues.

OH WAIT!!

When you are done building video, you have to select "save to computer".  This converts it to a wmv file.

That should be the issue.  It will also ask you if you want to save a copy in the mswmm format.  I always choose to so if I want to go back and change somthing in the video, I still can.

Let me know if this is the issue.

Yup!  That took care of it.  I searched all over the web to find that answer with no results.  I knew that BassResource.com would pull through for me.

Thanks for the help LBH!!!

Always glad to help.
