Computer Question.

Featured Replies

I bought a new Dell computer a couple of weeks ago. Since the

day I bought it, it will make these strange noises from time to time.

The noise sounds like a lion growling or something like that. It is

very odd. It might only do it once or twice a day, but I still don't like

it. (It is coming through my speakers)

Does anyone know what the problem is and how to get it to stop?

Thanks

Disregard......

I think I have solved the problem.

It appears that people can set AIM to make certain sounds

when you log in or out. There is a guy on my buddy list that

logged out at exactly the time I heard the growl again. I checked

how long he was online and he logged in around the time I heard

the growl earlier. Plus he has a little picture of a Tiger that pops up

when you send him a message.
