Congressional Inquiry

I want a Congressional inquiry and investigation on why gasoline prices are declining.

It is time to stop the madness and control gasoline prices before they go even cheaper.

Look at the gready oil companies not making those big profits and we need to find out why.

Please contact your Senator and Representative and demand a Congressional hearing and investigation on why gasoline prices are falling.

Thank you.

Ummmm

Avid,

I did this post because of all the outcry when gas prices went up and we had the hearings in DC.

So now that the gas prices have fallen why not have more hearings.

Whats good for the goose should be good for the gander!

Considering the outlandish profits big oil was raking in when gas was around $3 gallon or higher, I'm sure none are hurting.

BTW, all those big profits without the added expense of building some sorely needed new refineries or spending much on exploration for new reserves.  Just sit back, ream the American consumer and readjust your seating position as your back pocket wallet keeps getting fatter.  Not a bad deal at all for big oil.

Don't be confused though, at $2.25/gal, they are still raking it in hand over fist.

I went to Iowa yesterday and saw gas for $1.86 a gallon. That was

the first time I had seen it under $2 per gallon in at least a couple of

years (if not it sure seems like it).

Hopefully they aren't just teasing us and waiting for summer to jack it

back up to $3 a gallon.
