it's still light outside!!!!!!!!!! Very exciting, but at the same time it only makes the spring fever worse. ::)

On a sad note .... it's 15 outside and it feels like 5 :( and we are suppose to get the full force of winter (temperature wise) the next two weeks.

I'm right there with ya KU i have spring fever and there's ice on everything that i fish, i dunno if it's safe ice maybe i'll find out this weekend. I've went through my fishing equipment every weekend i think, and seeing the pictures of fish other members have caught this year already just make it worse. Our time will come ...................very shortly i hope. And yea winter is here i've been working outside for the past 3 days it'll take 3 weeks to thaw my toes out  :'(. -Matt

I feel your pain, just when it looks like I can get out, it snows again

I feel your pain, I have spring fever so bad it is driving my wife nuts.  Every night I am on BPS website making and changing my shopping list for when the store in Olathe opens.  I am even debating taking that day off of work and spending all day there.

I drove by Shawnee Mission Lake today and there is a small patch of open water that is accessible from the shore, I might have to take a rod to work tomorrow and go casting at lunch.

Colorado is no better for the weather.  I've not seen snow on the ground for this long in a very long time.  We do need the water so I guess we shouldn't complain to much.  Was looking at tournaments for this year and one is the second week in march.  It might be a ice fishing tournament the way things are going.  I just need to get on a plane and head to Florida.
