Did it hit him in the eye? If he would have been wearing some impact resistant eye protection it might not have happened...would have scared the crap outta him but he MAY still have his eyesight. Pity....good reminder to everyone to wear some eye protection out on the water. That pic of KU's sunglasses should be a good reminder too.

OWIE! He certainly got lucky!

That is certainly a grim reminder the next time he goes fishing! At least he didn't get a lure stuck in his eye with trebel hooks!!!

Any item at high speeds is dangerous! Especially one that is small and pretty heavy!  :o

Thats scary!!! I ALWAYS wear eye protection...this guy shoulda been fishin a weightless senko!! It just mighta looked funnier with a senko hangin from his eye?
